Welcome to the Belfast Benevolent Society of St Andrew

The Belfast Benevolent Society of St Andrew is one of Northern Ireland’s oldest charitable organisations, founded in 1867 by members of the Scottish community in Belfast. For over 150 years, we have worked to support people in need, fund community initiatives, and celebrate the enduring ties between Ulster and Scotland. Through events, bursaries, and charitable projects, we combine heritage with compassion, ensuring our traditions continue to make a positive impact today. At our heart, we are a fellowship of people committed to service, community, and the spirit of St Andrew.
